The ample parks of the city are grouped together and referred to as Grünen U by the people of Stuttgart. Extensive and well kept gardens and parks from different eras make up together more than 8 kilometres and offer interesting insight into the garden architecture of the region.
The route goes from Oberen, Mittleren and Unteren Schlossgarten to Rosenstein Park, to Höhenpark and ends at the idyllic Killesberg.
